Directions
Train
Leave station, and walk directly forward onto Station Road, which becomes Oxford Street. About a mile up this road, you will come to John Street. At the top of John Street turn right onto Central Square. Pass the Squeaky Clean Car Wash and the Church. The Assessment Centre is directly ahead on Central Way, next to the bridge and below Robinsons Accountants.
Car
From North/South – follow the A596 into Workington and turn left/right (Jane Street), then onto the B5297 (Oxford Street). From this road, turn left at the top of John Street. Pass the Squeaky Clean Car Wash and the Church. The Assessment Centre will be directly ahead on Central Way, next to the bridge and below Robinsons Accountants.
From West – follow A66 into Workington until the end of the road, then turn left onto Washington Street. Turn right onto Jane Street and then Oxford Street. Turn left at the top of John Street onto Central Square, pass the Squeaky Clean Car Park and the Church. The Assessment Centre is directly ahead on Central Way next to the bridge and below Robinsons Accountants.
Central Square car park is directly opposite the Assessment Centre entrance.
Bus
Workington bus station is located on Murray Road a few minutes walk away. Leave bus station, walk directly ahead onto Oxford Street, cross level crossing and walk left down to John Street, turn right at the top of John Street onto Central Square. Pass the Squeaky Clean Car Park and the Church the Assessment Centre is directly ahead on Central Way next to the bridge and below Robinsons Accountants.

The name ‘Robinsons Accountants’ is in big letters on the wall above the Assessment Centre.
To gain access to the Assessment Centre there is a buzzer located on the wall to the right of the door. Press the buzzer and a member of staff will speak to you and release the door.
