Rail
Turn left out of the station onto Ffordd Croesawdy. Take the next right, continue on, then turn right onto New Road (A489). Take the next left onto Frolic Street, proceed up to the end of Frolic Street, cross the road (Park Street), then continue up the road that is facing you slightly to your left: this is the entrance road to Afon House Jobcentre Plus where the Assessment Centre is based. The entire walk takes approximately 15 minutes.
Car
From the main A483 road from Welshpool, pass Morrisons and Tesco on your left, come to traffic lights with KFC and McDonalds, carry straight on past next set of lights, then at next set of lights at the church, turn right onto New Church Street (B4568). Turn left into Park Street – the entrance road to Afon House Jobcentre Plus is on the right-hand side of Park Street, opposite Frolic Street.
Bus
From the bus park, turn right onto Back Lane (B4568). Take the next right onto Park Street; continue up Park Street, then take the next right (opposite Frolic Street): this is the entrance road to Afon House Jobcentre Plus. The walk takes approximately 10 minutes.
